1. How much do your services cost?
Generally, my minimum level of engagement starts at 3000 EUR and my hourly rate starts at 60 EUR.
However, the final price is affected by a lot of factors, such as the scope, the time the project needs to be completed in, the functionalities required and exact tools and services needed. Feel free to contact me any time to get an accurate assessment!

2. What are your payment terms?
Payment is split into two parts. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining 50% due once the project is completed. For larger projects, payments can be divided into additional installments based on agreed-upon project milestones.

3. How much will I have to pay for software?
That depends entirely on the functionalities you need on your website. If you need features such as product bundling for your online store or a booking system, it’s very likely that some additional paid software or licenses will be required.
Besides a domain and hosting, you will at the very least need an Elementor Pro license, which I offer at a discounted price of 60 EUR / yearly.

No. I do not offer refunds for anything, including projects, software or maintenance plans.

5. Do you use AI to design or build websites?
No. AI can’t reach the level of quality or usability that I can deliver. I design and build websites from the ground up, which ensures that your website will be in line with your brand and requirements.
I only use AI for minor things to enhance my workflow, like adding in some advanced effects or troubleshooting. I never use it for design, creating content or as a replacement for WordPress.

6. Do you use anything other than WordPress and Elementor to build websites?
No. I’m specialized in WordPress and Elementor. Mastering both and not mixing in other content management systems or page builders allows me to work fast and easily add in and customize advanced functionalities, such as an online store or a booking system. The end result is a website tailored specifically to you that works reliably and is easy to maintain.
7. Do you use predesigned and prebuilt themes or templates?
No. They limit me when it comes to both design and development, which negates the biggest advantage of working with me. In terms of functionality, they add a lot of unnecessary bloat in the form of preinstalled plugins or code that you can’t get rid of without breaking everything.
Even though they might seem like a cheaper option at first, in the long run, a well built custom website will do far more for your business. Plus, it will be way easier to work on, maintain and adjust in the future.

8. Will you teach me how to use my website?
Yes! We’ll go through everything you need to know to efficiently use the tools you need to get the most out of your new website. If you want to, this can be done in the form of a recorded video that you can play any time you’re feeling stuck. If not, we’ll go over everything on a call and if needed, the call can be recorded.
9. How do you handle domains and hosting?
While I will need access to everything, I generally advise my clients to make sure their domain is purchased and registered in their own name and connected to their email address. That way, you always retain full control over it.
The same goes for hosting if you choose to use your own hosting provider. However, if you want me to take care of hosting for you, that is also an option and I offer it as part of my maintenance plans.

10. What does website maintenance include?
Basic website maintenance includes daily backups, regular updates and inspecting whether or not everything works properly after updates.
I also offer advanced maintenance plans, which are tailored to your specific needs and can include security monitoring, cleanups, content updates, bug fixes and even taking care of hosting.

Maintenance plans are personalized for each individual website, based on the scope and complexity of the website as well as your requirements.
The backbone of any maintenance plan are daily backups and regular updates. Daily backups start at 96 EUR / yearly, and regular updates and monitoring (without bug fixes) starts at 50 EUR / monthly.

How fast can you start working on my project?
I’ll start working on your project as soon as possible. If I’m currently working on other projects, I’ll let you know when I can begin beforehand. I know time is a sensitive matter and I’ll always do my best to communicate exactly when you can expect your project to start and end.
How much do you communicate during the project?
As much as possible. When I order a service, I prefer my vendor to be very descriptive and as accurate as possible. As such, I strive to provide my clients with regular updates, information and input when working on a project.
Are you available for long-term partnerships?
Absolutely! If you need more work done after the initial project is complete, I’m all up for it, given that I’m available at the time.
Are online stores more expensive than regular websites?
Usually, but not always. Online stores have a lot of added functionalities and things that need to be set up in the back end. They are also automatically larger in scale because of content that is unnecessary for regular websites.
Still, a website that isn’t an online store can also be very large in scale or have several advanced functionalities, such as timetables, membership sites or booking.

Will my website be custom coded?
Parts of it will be, but the foundation will be based on WordPress, Elementor and WooCommerce, depending on the functionalities required.
I add in HTML, CSS and some occasional PHP or JavaScript to further customize necessary parts or functionalities of the website. But in terms of development, the method I use is much easier than custom coding everything from the ground up. This allows me to work fast and keep costs much lower. The end result is a website tailored specifically to you that works impeccably and is easier to maintain.

Yes! Maintenance is a very important part of your website’s longevity and health and I believe in building long-term relationships with my clients. If you’re interested in learning more about the how and the why regarding website maintenance, please contact me.
How soon can you start maintaining my website?
For websites I build, the maintenance can start as soon as the project is finished. If you have a website that’s already built that you need maintained, however, I’ll set everything up within 5 business days.
Are there any long-term commitments I can't get out of?
No. I want you to stay with me because you choose to and because it’s the best option for you. Should you, for any reason, change your mind, I’ll help you migrate to a new host and set things up at no extra charge, in a maximum of 5 business days.
Are there any extra or hidden fees?
When it comes to money, I don’t like surprises, and I know you don’t either. No fee will ever be charged without first being discussed and agreed to, and migrating your website at the start or end of your maintenance plan will be free of charge.
Do you offer refunds?
Unfortunately, refunds are not possible. Since your website is using resources and software that I need to purchase the minute I start maintaining it, and because there’s quite some work involved, I can’t offer refunds on any of my maintenance plans. You can cancel any time, however, and you’ll have access to everything included in your plan until it runs out.
Do I need to pay for a maintenance plan if you build my website?
No. While I strongly recommend you stick with me because I know your website in and out, you can, of course, refuse the service.
However, some sort of maintenance is a must. You will have to purchase all of the necessary software if you wish to keep your website functioning at its best. You’ll also need to make sure you regularly update, clean, monitor and backup your website to avoid problems moving forward.

Do I have to use your hosting?
No. You are completely free to use any hosting you wish to.
If the hosting you intend to use isn’t good for your needs, I’ll let you know – but at the end of the day, it’s your decision and I’ll do my best to properly advise you about it!

What if I decide to cancel my plan?
I understand things change and I only want the best for my clients. If you decide to cancel your plan, I will help you migrate your website to your new host and set everything up at no extra charge, within 5 business days.
You’ll lose access to the premium plugins, perks and tools my maintenance plans offer, and to access them, you’ll have to purchase them all yourself. If you don’t purchase them, worry not, your website won’t just crash and disappear – however, you won’t be able to update it or use some of the features, which will likely cause issues in the future.
